ABOUT THE EXPERIENCES
Common Questions About Both Flights
What is paragliding?
In the simplest terms, a paraglider is a parachute engineered to glide forward through the air instead of just going down. We steer by slowing down one side of the wing more than the other. When we find rising air — called a thermal — we can stay airborne for hours. It's the most pure form of human flight there is.
What is a paramotor quad?
A paramotor quad uses the same paraglider wing but adds a powerful motor on a wheeled cart. Instead of launching from a mountain, you roll along flat ground until the wing lifts you into the air — no running required. Our new Bushdawg 4-Stroke Paramotor Quad is the perfect machine for tandem powered flight.
The Bushdawg Quad is now part of our tandem lineup — the smoothest, most comfortable powered tandem experience available in Southern California.

Where to the flights take place?
Paragliding: We launch from Andy Jackson Airpark in San Bernardino — the flagship flying site in North America. Meeting point and landing zone are both at AJX near Cal State San Bernardino.
Paramotor quad: Trike flights operate from a flat training venue, with sunrise flights available near Diamond Valley Lake, California. Jordan will confirm the exact meeting point when you book.

How long is a tandem flight?
Goal is at least 20–30 minutes of air time, weather dependent. Extended flight options are available — ask when booking.
For both flights, with paperwork, ride to launch, briefing, and setup, plan on the full experience taking around 1 hour per flight.
SIMPLE PROCESS
How to Book Your Flight
Reserve online
All flights require an online reservation — we don't accept walk-ins. Same-day bookings are possible if conditions are good. Call or text 951.901.0995 to check availability →
Call or text Jordan the day before to check conditions
As part of your passenger checklist, please call or text Jordan at 951.901.0995 the day before your flight to confirm conditions. It's a quick conversation that makes all the difference — and it's part of every passenger's checklist for a reason.
Arrive at your meeting point
Jordan will confirm your exact meeting time and location when you book. Afternoon to sunset is preferred for paragliding; sunrise and sunset for the trike.
Complete paperwork and pre-flight briefing
You'll sign a waiver and receive a full briefing covering the launch, what to expect in the air, and the landing — before you leave the ground.
Show up and fly!
Paragliding — a few steps downhill and you're soaring. Paramotor trike — roll forward, the wing fills, and powered flight begins. Both are unforgettable.
All bookings are weather dependent. If conditions aren't safe, Jordan will reschedule — your safety always comes first. Your payment rolls over to the new date, no hassle.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
Requirements & What to Bring
Is there a weight limit?
Yes — passenger weight range is 70–250 lbs for paragliding. Wing loading affects flight, launch, and landing characteristics.
Paragliding
250lbs
Maximum weight
Paramotor
180lbs
Maximum weight
Paragliding is a great option for passengers outside the paramotor weight range — contact Jordan to discuss your situation.
How fit do I need to be?
Paragliding: Launching and landing requires running a few light steps with your pilot. If you have mobility issues with balance, knees, ankles, or your back, discuss them with Jordan before booking.
Paramotor quad: No running required at all — you're seated for the entire flight. This is an excellent option for passengers with mobility concerns or anyone who prefers not to run.
The trike is also great for paramotoring students — handling a 43–67 lb motor is manageable with the right technique, and trikes/quads eliminate the carrying requirement entirely.
What should I wear?
Footwear
Ankle support shoes or hiking boots — especially for paragliding
Helmet
Provided for both flights
Sun protection
Sunglasses and a hat recommended — especially for sunrise/sunset trike flights
Layers
It gets cooler at altitude — dress in layers on cooler occasions
Can I bring a camera or phone?
Yes — any device must be securely attached to your wrist or harness. Friends and family can shoot from the ground but must stay clear of launch and landing zones.
GoPro Package available
Jordan helps you film your flight with a selfie stick and sends you the highlights
$25
Can I fly at the same time as my friend?
Groups of 4 or more can fly with multiple pilots simultaneously for paragliding only. Smaller groups including couples will fly one after the next. Contact Jordan when booking to coordinate group flights.
Can I book a date in advance?
Yes — but all bookings are tentative and depend on favorable weather. Let Jordan know your available dates but be prepared to reschedule if conditions don't permit safe flight. Same-day bookings are also possible when weather is good — just call.
Adaptive Flying Available
FlyWithJordan accommodates passengers with disabilities using an adaptive co-pilot passenger harness with wheel assist. The paramotor trike is also an excellent seated option. Contact Jordan directly to discuss your needs — he'll find the right solution.

REVIEWS
★★★★★
"Jordan was prompt, professional, and incredibly friendly. His passion and expertise were evident, and he made each of us feel safe, comfortable, and excited. There's truly nothing like the feeling of free flight — I've experienced skydiving, paragliding, and hang gliding but this was something uniquely special and in a league of its own."

★★★★★
"This was the best and most surreal experience of my life. Jordan is everything you could wish for in an instructor, and then some. Thinking about signing up for a tandem? Do it."
