Muse 5 Hybrid Wing

The MacPara Muse 5 occupies a unique position in the EN-A category — it performs like a wing a category above it. For students who have solid airtime and are getting serious about cross-country flying but aren't ready to step up to EN-B, this is the wing I'd point them toward. The glide ratio is exceptional for the category. MacPara pushed hard to extract performance without compromising the passive safety that defines EN-A, and they succeeded.
 
The canopy is aerodynamically clean with 50 cells, 3D panel shaping, and mini-ribs on the trailing edge that reduce drag and improve efficiency. Handling is balanced across the whole weight range with medium, progressive brake pressure. The canopy responds willingly to inputs, making thermalling in punchy cores comfortable rather than stressful. At 4.35-6.3kg the Muse 5 is semi-lightweight which keeps pack volume manageable. It's built from proven Skytex materials for durability, with Edelrid Aramid/Kevlar lines and Harken ball bearing pulleys on the risers. This is also available as the Muse 5 Hybrid for pilots who want to fly both disciplines.
