Magic 2 Paraglider
The BGD Magic 2 is the wing I put most of my new students on. After years of teaching, it remains my top recommendation for anyone starting their paragliding journey at FlyWithJordan. The Magic 2 strikes the perfect balance between passive safety and genuine fun. It's forgiving enough that a new pilot can make mistakes and recover without drama, but responsive enough that you're actually learning to fly rather than just being carried along.
The launch behavior is predictable and easy — critical when you're still building your ground handling skills. It rises calmly and sits above your head without surging forward. Brake pressure is progressive and clear, so you always know where you are in the control range. As your skills develop through P1 and into P2, the Magic 2 keeps up with you. It thermals well, has good glide for the category, and handles a range of conditions confidently.
