Anda Paraglider Lightweight

The BGD Anda is the wing I recommend to students who want to combine their flying with hiking, travel, and adventure. At under 3kg in the two smallest sizes, it's genuinely light enough to carry in hand luggage — something very few EN-A wings can claim. What impresses me most about the Anda is how it doesn't compromise safety for weight. It's fully certified EN-A across all sizes in both standard and extended weight ranges, which means a new pilot can confidently unpack this wing in an unfamiliar location and go exploring without needing ideal conditions to stay safe.
 
The launch behavior is outstanding — it floats up in the lightest of breezes and is very forgiving of imperfect technique on inflation, which is exactly what you want when setting up on an unfamiliar slope. The stall speed is slow and brake pressure builds progressively, reducing the risk of accidental stalls or spins almost completely.
