The Blizzard is the perfect wing for pilots who have graduated from flight school and are eager to improve their skills and take their flying to the next level. This easy-to-handle wing has been designed with the safety and comfort of less experienced pilots in mind, while also providing the speed and performance needed to push boundaries and explore new territories.
Gentle Reflex and Precise Handling
The Blizzard's gentle reflex and precise handling make it a joy to fly, even for pilots who are still building their skills. With this wing, you'll feel confident and in control as you explore your limits and progress naturally. The wing's launch behaviour has been carefully engineered to ensure it is very easy to inflate and launch. The solid leading edge provides forgiveness for over-enthusiastic launch pulls, while the baby A's split off high up on the risers, making it natural for pilots to hold all A's to launch.
Efficient Four-Line Layout
We chose a four-line layout for the Blizzard because it allows for effective activation of the wing's reflex by changing the trimmer settings. The long trimmers have a 12cm range and smooth brass roller-cams that are kind to the webbing, ensuring smooth and easy operation. The wing also comes with a speed bar that provides an additional 12cm of travel, allowing for even more speed. With trimmers out and the bar on top speed, the Blizzard can reach speeds of up to 54km/h, while maintaining excellent stability at top speed.
Tip-Steering Toggles
The Blizzard's tip-steering toggles allow pilots to learn and perfect wingtip-control without having to use the brakes when cruising at speed. This feature makes it easy to maneuver the wing in a variety of conditions, giving pilots more control and confidence in their flying.
Low and High Hangpoints
The Blizzard's risers have both low and high hangpoints, making it easy to adjust the wing to suit different motor setups. However, our test team discovered that the Blizzard is beautiful to fly even without a motor, proving that this wing is not only versatile but also a joy to fly in any situation.
