ECHO 2

$4,000.00Price

Hey there! Let's talk about the ECHO 2, the mischievous mountain nymph of the paragliding world. This lightweight low-B wing is perfect for pilots who like to have their paragliding served up any way they like it.

Whether you're into hike-and-fly, cross-country flying, or even vol-bivouac (that's fancy talk for flying and camping), the ECHO 2 has got you covered. It's light as a feather (well, not quite, but at 3.4kg in XS and 4.4kg in L, it's close enough), and folds down small so you can take it with you wherever you go.

One of the things we love about the ECHO 2 is its B/C- steering system. What's that, you ask? Well, it means you can use the bar all the way and steer with the rear risers, giving you more control and helping you munch those miles. Plus, the launch is a dream – no holding back or hurtling forwards at high speed in strong winds. It's easy and relaxing, just the way we like it.

And don't worry, the ECHO 2 may be mischievous, but it's also safe and easy to handle. Whether you're a relative beginner or have been flying for 20 years, this wing is accessible and fun to fly. Plus, it's made from high-quality Porcher cloth, so it's both light and durable.

We could go on and on about the ECHO 2, but why not try it out for yourself? Trust us, this wing is a multi-purpose superstar, a quiver of one, and you won't regret taking it for a spin. So get out there and show that mountain nymph who's boss!

Let's talk about the cool tech that makes BGD gliders stand out from the rest.

First up, they have the ALULA simulation software. No need to waste time and resources on physical prototypes when they can create hundreds of virtual prototypes with ALULA. We're talking about over 200 virtual prototypes per paraglider, with 50 million iterations of structural and aero calculations. That's some serious testing power! With ALULA, they design our gliders to have a stable and solid center, and softer tips. This makes it easier for pilots to avoid deflations and stay in control of their ride.

Next on the list is the B/C Speed Steering System. The new "speed riser" attaches the back of the speed system to the front of the C-line steering handle, making the C-steering system simple and light to use. Plus, because the force is on the dimensionally stable Kevlar-reinforced riser instead of the pulley, the glider stays in trim. Smooth sailing ahead!

Last but not least, let's talk about Chord Cut Billow (CCB) technology. This tech is designed to improve the form friction, glider stability, and overall performance of our paragliders. Two seams run chord-wise across the top panels of the leading edge to accommodate the panel ballooning that happens when the wing is inflated. Without CCB, you could end up with up to five centimeters of excess material on the sides of an inflated panel, resulting in wrinkles. But with Chord Cut Billow technology, that excess material is removed, resulting in fewer ripples and improved rib profile shape and stability.

So there you have it, folks! The next time you take to the skies with a BGD glider, know that you're flying with some seriously cool tech. Keep on soaring!
